The Prince of Wales is proud to be one of the major sponsors of Aqua Culture without Frontiers, a charity registered in the United States and in the United Kingdom to help raise awareness and charitable funds to promote and support responsible and sustainable aquaculture to assist in alleviating poverty through improving rural livelihoods in developing countries.

The Prince of Wales raised money through sponsorship from locals who paddled the boat.

Whilst this is an international charity, our involvement again has a very local flavour as it reflects our close proximity to the River Thames and the fact that we are a renowned regatta town. Two of our regular customers organised a major fund raising exercise, which included a street party in South Place, literally next door to the Prince of Wales. This in turn actively involved many of our other regulars who gave of their time and effort to support this very worthy cause and in the process raised £3,150 whilst enjoying themselves!

Marlow RFC

Marlow RFC, who are a short walk or drive away down Mill Road and Riverwoods Drive, are the envy of many senior and other local clubs as they have some of the best facilities and their own five pitches in a river side setting. They regularly put out 5 teams plus the veterans side, The Stragglers, on a Saturday plus run thriving and very active mini and youth sections on Sunday mornings. www.marlowrfc.com
